Q. Do you have a positive memorable client moment at Medi-Quote Insurance Brokers?
A. The most rewarding moment was when I was able to help a client appeal a denied claim and the insurance company reversed their decision. My client was facing a $30,000 for medical tests for a possible heart attack. (Fortunately it turned out to be a pulled muscle and pinched nerve.) However, the insurance company discovered he had answered a question incorrectly on his application form. They called our office and I answered the call. In the appeal letter he was able to show that even though he had received a prescription, it had never been filled and therefore he forgot about it. He stated he would have paid the increase in premium without any problem. I celebrated with them when they received news of the reversal!
